Versatile storyteller Krish is back with interesting movie Kanche, which is based on love story and II World War starring Varun Tej and Pragya Jaiswal has hit the theaters today in  a grand manner. Let’s see the story.

Story: The movie is set up in the backdrop of 1930’s and 40’s and take us back before Independence. Dhupati Hari Babu (Varun Tej) is a very calm and middle class guy  who falls in the love of rich girl Seeta Devi (Pragya Jaiswal). Seeta Devi is the princely girly in the same village. Hari Baby is also against the flaws in the society that how the few people build fences between the people for their own benefits. The destiny force to Hari Babu to fight to win the love of Seeta Devi against the high class and also he participates as soldier for British ruled India in the II Word War.   Will he win his love Seetha?  Will he win the war?  How will Kanche (Fence) between the people and countries break?  How did Hari Babu and other soldiers struggle for II World War battle? To get these answers, on should watch the movie on silver screen.

Star performance: Varun Tej  get the chance to prove his talent in Kanche and he has done justification with his role. He performed well and his facial expression during the fight against Internal (Caste System) and II World war are (External)are superb. The way of dialogue delivery of Varun received applause. Pragya Jaiswal became successful to attract the audiences by her pretty look and traditional attire. She was looking very innocent. Gollapudi, Singeetam Srnivasa Rao, Niketin Dheer and Srinivas Avasarala has performed well and delivered their best performance.

Technical: Cinematography handled by Gnanasekhar is superb and he deserves lot of applause for the presentation of Georgia location to 1940 II World war look. He became successful to frame the situation according to the look of II World war. Music is given by Chirantan Bhat is good and the background music takes the audiences in the past time of war. Editing by Suraj Jagtap, Ramkrishna can be better, he can chopped few scenes to make it better.  There was proper requirement of trimming and better editing. Art work done by Sahi Suresh is good and up to the mark. Few dialogues which are written by Sai Madhav Burra sounded stereotype and forcible.

Analysis: The story line of the movie is different from other movies and the plot is very challenging. Krish has become successful to present the situation of Village in India and II World War. Realistic back drop, visuals and stunning performance of Varun Tej are the main assets of the movie. Although the narration of the movie is very slow and it is different from other masala entertainment movie but the work of Krish deserve appreciations.

Brazilian retailer C&A has started a campaign that merges online and instore consumer decision making i.e they started a compaign which helps an instore customer to know the craze the product got online . they named it FashionLike, whenever someone ‘likes’ an item of clothing online at the C&A website, that ‘like’ gets totalled on a screen embedded in a clothes hanger on the rack instore. Consumers can then decide whether they want the more popular clothes with the larger number of ‘likes,’ or they can opt for the ‘less liked’ pieces. Cool, right ??
A recent fashion campaign promised that a model dressed for winter warmth would shed clothing layers according to the number of ‘likes’ the campaign generated on Facebook. Expect to see more of these social media fashion campaigns this year.

Ola Allowed To Run Only CNG Cabs In Delhi

New Delhi: The Delhi High Court today said that taxi company Ola can run cabs only fueled with compressed natural gas or CNG in the national capital.

Congress leader and senior lawyer P Chidambaram appeared for ANI Technologies, the company that owns Ola, and said that it would take off all diesel taxis within two weeks.

The High Court maintained its earlier order backing the Delhi government which said tourist taxis with ‘All-India’ permits cannot run as city cabs.

China marks Japan WWII defeat, pledges to cut 300,000 troops from the army

Square in a massive parade Thursday
commemorating Japan’s World War II
defeat 70 years ago and underlining
President Xi Jinping’s determination to
make China the pre-eminent Asian power.
To underline China’s position that its rise is
peaceful and poses no threat to neighbors,
Xi pledged to cut 300,000 troops from the
2.3 million strong People’s Liberation
Army, the world’s largest standing military.
Helicopters zoomed overhead in an array
forming the number 70.
Xi kicked off the proceedings with a speech
at the iconic Tiananmen Gate in the heart
of Beijing, flanked by Chinese leaders and
foreign dignitaries, including Russian
leader Vladimir Putin, South Korean
President Park Geun-hye and U.N.
Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
“The experience of war makes people value
peace even more,” Xi said. “Regardless of
the progress of events, China will never
seek hegemony, China will never seek to
expand and will never inflict the tragedies
it suffered in the past upon others.”
Xi then drove past the assembled troops in
a Chinese-made Red Flag limousine,
standing up through a sunroof with four
microphones mounted in front of him,
calling out “Greetings, Comrades” every few
moments, before the troops started their
marching.
The spectacle involved more than 12,000
troops, 500 pieces of military hardware and
200 aircraft of various types, representing
what military officials say is the Chinese
military’s most cutting-edge technology.
The parade is part of commemorations
packaged to bolster the ruling Communist
Party’s self-declared role as the driving
force behind Japan’s defeat 70 years ago
and savior of the nation, though historians
say the rival Nationalists did most of the
fighting. The events also minimize the role
of the U.S., Britain and others.
Most leading democracies kept high-level
representatives away, reflecting concerns
over the parade’s anti-Japanese tone and
China’s recent aggressive moves to assert
territorial claims. The U.S. sent only its
ambassador to observe. In Washington,
U.S. Defense Department spokesman Bill
Urban said that the U.S. maintains such
commemorations should be about
reconciliation and that a “large military
display would not appear to be consistent
with this theme.”
Under Xi, who took power as party leader
in late 2012, Beijing has sent ships to
confront Japan’s coast guard near disputed
islands in the East China Sea, blockaded
Philippine island outposts and constructed
whole islands from reefs, topping them
with airstrips and other military
infrastructure.
China usually holds lavish military parades
only every 10 years to mark the
anniversary of the founding of the
communist People’s Republic in 1949. By
holding an additional one now, Xi ensures
that he’ll preside over at least two of the
prestigious events during his decade-long
tenure in power ending in 2023.
The parade panders to a prickly strain of
nationalism in a Chinese public constantly
reminded by state propaganda of China’s
past humiliations at the hands of foreign
powers, especially Japan, which is widely
despised for its perceived failure to
properly atone for invading China.
While a hit at home, such sentiments
heighten fears abroad about China’s
intended uses of its newfound power,
frustrating Beijing’s attempts to market
itself as a responsible member of
international society committed to the
common good.
“In domestic terms, it’s certainly a plus for
Xi. But in foreign policy terms, it’s
controversial. It doesn’t enhance China’s
soft power. It doesn’t help China’s image as
a force for peace, stability and
development,” said Joseph Cheng, a retired
academic and political analyst in Hong
Kong.

Did Google really abuse its search dominance? Here’s what the CCI document says

Early this month, there were reports of the
Competition Commission of India (CCI) accusing
Google of abusing its dominant position in online
search.
Since 2012, the Competition Commission of India has
been probing Google India for misuse of its dominant
position in search. In 2014, the CCI also imposed a
fine of Rs 1 crore for failing to comply with the
directions of the Director General (DG) seeking
information and documents. A Google spokesperson
said the company was “disappointed by this
development.”
When we contacted Google India for a response, they
said , “In addition to Brazil and Germany, the US
Federal Trade Commission, and two state Attorneys-
Generals have also investigated and cleared Google’s
display and ranking of search results. In fact,
following a two-year investigation, the FTC
unanimously found that Google’s designs are pro-
competitive and benefit users. Over 15 courts and
authorities, including many across Europe, have
reviewed our AdWords policies and enforcement
practices and acknowledged that these are intended
to safeguard the interests of users and customers.”
They also said, “We’re currently reviewing this report
from the CCI’s ongoing investigation. We continue to
work closely with the CCI and remain confident that
we comply fully with India’s competition laws.
Regulators and courts around the world, including in
the U.S., Germany, Taiwan, Egypt and Brazil, have
looked into and found no concerns on many of the
issues raised in this report.”
